Premises Charges

Licence Fee

Licence fees are invoiced quarterly to the standard quarter days (25th March, 24th June, 29th September & 25th December), and are payable 14 days prior to the commencement of the quarter. Invoices are raised 4 weeks prior to their due date.

Registration Fee

This fee covers the cost of preparing the room for you, to your specification, telephone configuration and set-up, agents fees for re-letting, licence documentation and the general administration relating to your initial occupation.

Deposit

We hold a deposit as security against our favourable terms of Licence. The deposit is fully refundable on the expiry of your Licence notice period and the clearing of your account balance. The deposit is non interest bearing.

Non Resident Facility

If you are working from home and don't need to take premises, you can still take advantage of our premises and services such as, telephone answering, fax, word processing, hourly room hire etc. The Non Resident facility allows you use of all the Malthouse's facilities apart from actually occupying any office space. The cost of this facility includes your 1st DDI number and full Voice Mail services. A fully refundable deposit equivalent to the quarterly fee is required as security.

Parking

In addition to the car parking spaces within our car park, the adjacent Hummer Road Car Park provides convenient additional parking. A "Pay and Display" system operates or alternatively we are able to obtain permits through the Local Authority.

Storage

Lockable storage cupboards are available, subject to availability, in the easily accessible roof space. These walk-in cupboards range from approx. 6ft x 6ft to 8ft x 8ft square.

Direct Telephone via DDI numbers

Direct telephone numbers are available for companies requiring the Receptionist to answer the telephone in your own company name. The charge per number includes the cost of the line rental, telephone switch equipment, maintenance and standard telephone instruments. DDl's are not restricted to a single line and therefore are not ‘engaged’ even if a caller has already come through on your number. Additional DDI numbers can be used to give direct access to your desk or facsimile machine.

Telephone Handsets

Feature phone digital hands free speaker telephone handset with CLI (Call Line Identity) ‘display’ and "Voice Mailer" display of any awaiting messages. Subject to limited availability.

Licence Fee

Our Licence Fee is all inclusive of Rates, Heating, Lighting, Cleaning, Air conditioning, Water, Insurance, Communal Areas, Telephones and Receptionist, Car Parking, Furniture, and Building Maintenance.

Cleaning

Our cleaners will clean your office and all the communal areas every working day. They are bound to client confidentiality as are all our staff.

Air Conditioning

All of our offices have dual air conditioning/heating units. The continual maintenance and running costs of these are included in the Licence fee.

Rates

The Licence Fee includes the cost of rates (new business rate) and any variation in this will be absorbed by ourselves.

Board Room & Interview Room

To suit your needs we have two rooms available on an hourly basis. If you need extra desk space for a short while or an impressive room for presentations we can accommodate you.

Storage

Lockable storage cupboards/rooms located in the fully accessible attic space are available on quarterly rental terms and represent very good value.

Insurance

Building insurance and the insurance of furniture supplied by ourselves is included in the Licence Fee. The only insurance you need is for your own contents and Employer's Liability insurance (as per Employer's Liability (Compulsory Insurance) Act 1969).

Repairs and Maintenance

Our own repair and maintenance staff together with contractors take care of all the maintenance from a faulty switch to a new roof. You will pay no extra as this is covered by our Licence Fee.

Electricity

All of the energy consumption is paid for by ourselves and as such is included in your Licence Fee.
